Working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical consultants and external partners, the role investigates and resolves production incidents, performs root cause analysis, undertakes approved policy data corrections, and contributes to improvements that enhance system reliability, performance and supportability. The role requires a balanced combination of functional knowledge, technical troubleshooting capability and strong customer focus.\nThis is a new entry/mid-level opportunity suitable for someone with a desire to learn more about SAP, debug code and fix poduction incidents.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPromote operational excellence and support best practices.\nProvide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP applications.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests.\nPerform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.\nMonitor jobs, interfaces, queues and application processing.\nWork with business stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues.\nFollow ITIL, ITSM, change and release management processes.\nSupport restoration of policy integrity following processing issues or defects.\nSupport testing of production fixes and minor enhancements.\nMaintain support documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles.\nAssist with documenting enhancement opportunities and business requirements.\nAbout You\nIdeally experience supporting SAP applications within a production environment.\nStrong incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability.\nAbility to analyse application behaviour across both functional and technical domains.\nExperience performing controlled business data correction activities.\nExperience monitoring jobs, interfaces, queues and application processing.\nAbility to work independently and manage competing priorities.\nExperience working within ITIL-based service management environments.\nNice to have\nSAP FS-PM (Policy Management) experience highly desirable.\nInsurance industry knowledge highly desirable.\nWorking knowledge of ABAP sufficient to analyse code and debug issues.\nExperience using SAP debugging techniques to investigate and resolve issues.\nExperience with SAP CRM, integrations, web services or related technologies desirable.\nImagine working with us\nWe understand that work means different things to everyone...
