Working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders and senior technical resources, the role delivers high-quality technical solutions, resolves production issues, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives using SAP development and integration technologies.\nThis role is specifically for a mid-level ABAP consultant that has a desire to work in a highly collaborative & supportive team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop technical specifications and contribute to solution designs aligned with Medibank standards and architecture principles.\nParticipate in peer reviews, quality assurance activities and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the SAP practice.\nCollaborate with SAP functional and technical team members to deliver solutions that integrate effectively across SAP and non-SAP platforms.\nEnsure technical solutions are developed in accordance with agreed standards, quality expectations and integration requirements.\nContinually grow technical expertise and promote development best practices, including Test-Driven Development, coding standards and modern SAP development approaches.\nProvide production support for Medibank SAP systems.\nPerform issue identification, analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.\nWork collaboratively with functional consultants, system analysts and business stakeholders to develop, test and deploy production fixes.Identify areas for system improvement, optimisation and enhancement.\n\nPrepare and maintain documentation for production fixes, support activities and technical changes.\nPerform unit testing and support system integration and user acceptance testing activities where required.\nParticipate in post-incident reviews, contributing to root cause analysis, corrective actions and lessons learned.\nDeliver SAP programs to support projects.\nTo assist business colleagues in articulating and documenting new business requirements and translating them into effective information technology solutions.\nWork with functional consultants and system analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solution.\nAbout You\n5+ Years ABAP development experience.\nExcellent knowledge of ABAP programming language including Object Oriented concepts.\nDemonstrated experience with the creation of RFC, BAPI, WRICEF objects, User Exits and BADI’s within an ECC6 environment and or S/4 HANA\nKnowledge and working experience on SAP FS-PM(Policy Management) system or CRM is added advantage.\nAbility and willingness to learn and work in PHI related module.\nExperience in production support activities including background job monitoring, queue monitoring, etc.\nStrong debugging skills to analyse issues and find solutions in existing SAP systems.\nExperience in integration within and outside SAP systems using RFCs, Proxy, Webservices and oData development.\nTranslate functional specifications into SAP ABAP technical specifications.\nNice to have\nExperience working with UI5/Fiori on SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.\n\nImagine working with us\nWe understand that work means different things to everyone...
