Bank Medical Receptionist - The Ultrasound suite

Medica Group is the market leader in the provision of telehealth services across the UK and Ireland. We are excited to offer a valuable opportunity for a Bank Medical Receptionist to join our team at The Ultrasound Suite, across all three clinics: Bray, Dublin and Gorey.

Medical receptionists play a key role in supporting the Sonographers and ultrasound team by providing essential administrative work, customer care and patient support, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care and experience.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a passion for healthcare, and a desire to contribute to the smooth running of a busy clinical environment. It is particularly well-suited to radiography students seeking hands-on experience in a clinical setting and the chance to learn directly from experienced sonographers.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing inbound and outbound phone calls
• Arriving patients for their scheduled appointments
• Scheduling patients
• Process payments
• Optimising the appointments
• Rescheduling patients when applicable
• Liaising with clinical staff when applicable
• Managing referrals
• Help with different shared email boxes and daily checks
• Ensuring excellent customer service to our referring GP practices and consultants.
• Basic reporting work
• Ad hoc administrative duties as required
• Radiology assistant duties in our clinics when needed. Full training will be provided
• Cash up at end of day

Essential Skills:

• Previous Administration experience customer facing
• Strong administrative skills.
• Dynamic personality with a willingness to consistently learn new things and upskill
• Able to take the initiative and think outside the box when needed.
• Customer/patient focused.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Office pack, especially Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Excellent phone manner.
