The role provides patients with appropriate information, guidance and non-clinical support across relevant touchpoints while ensuring a culturally sensitive, confidential and patient-centred experience. The Care Coordinator works closely with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate an organised patient pathway, maintain accurate documentation and proactively address coordination requirements that may affect the patient's experience or progression of care within the assigned unit or program.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS\nKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS\n1 Patient Navigation and Appointment Coordination\n2 Patient Communication and Response Management\n3 Patient Education, Guidance and Support\n4 Patient Experience and Care Coordination\n5 Documentation and Information Management\nREQUIRED EDUCATION\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and a formal accredited 6-month healthcare course OR Diploma in Nursing or equivalent from an institution accredited in the home country. DESIRED EDUCATION\nCertification or training in patient services, healthcare communication or care coordination.\nAdditional training in cultural sensitivity, patient experience or hospitality is preferred.\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nAt least 2 years of experience in healthcare or patient-facing administrative roles.\nExperience in appointment coordination, patient interaction or front-line clinical/healthcare operations.\nExperience supporting patients through appointments, investigations, procedures, follow-ups or other stages of a care pathway.\nExperience coordinating with clinical and administrative stakeholders to facilitate patient services.\nDESIRED EXPERIENCE\nPrevious experience in a care coordination, patient navigation or patient services role.\nExperience relevant to the assigned unit or program is highly desirable.\nExperience handling multi-channel patient communications.\nExperience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.\nExperience supporting patients through multi stage or complex care pathways.\nREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\nBasic Arabic language skills\nComprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards\nDemonstrate sound proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)\nAbility to communicate effectively and professionally with clients / patients and colleagues\nClient service and related management principles\nClient Service Orientation\nMedical terminology and procedures\nKey understanding of the key requirements and demands for the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR), Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)\nActive listening and learning\nEmotional Intelligence and Empathy\nCollaboration within a multidisciplinary environment\nCultural sensitivity\nAll applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
