qualification\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 yrs clinical experience as a Professional Nurse\nDESIRED EXPERIENCE 2 to 3 yrs management experience at the unit level (SPN/UM)\nKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS\nContinuously deliver a quality service to patients in accordance with patient safety standards\nAchieve the clinical quality standards according to policies and procedures\nEnsure the optimal utilisation and competence of staff whose behaviour reflects the organisation’s core values\nEnsure continuation of patient care through effective supervision\nCo-ordinate resources efficiently to enhance safe patient care\nREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\nPeople Management\nRisk management processes and procedures\nInfection prevention and control\nKnowledge of continuous improvement and quality assurance methodologies\nComputer literate (Microsoft Office)\nNursing functional knowledge\nRelevant nursing legislation\nHuman resource
