sterilized instrument sets and packs to the operating theatre and other nursing units in the hospital.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS\nEnsure patient safety by providing adequate, sterile and functional equipment on time.\nEnsure optimal care and maintenance of capital equipment to minimize clinical and financial risks.\nEnsure cost-effective use of pharmaceutical stock to meet the daily requirements of the operating theatre and other nursing units\nEnsure Infection Prevention and Control standards are met according to policies and procedures.\nAdhere to standardised workflow processes in order to minimise risks\nREQUIRED EDUCATION\nESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12\nDESIRED EDUCATION: CSSD CPD course\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE\nESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None\nDESIRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years experience as CSSD Technician\nREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\nComputer literate (Microsoft Office)\nStock control processes\nKnowledge of personal and environmental hygiene\nKnowledge of IPC protocols and
