Business System Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Gather and understand business requirements from stakeholders and clients.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user requirements.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
• Create and maintain business documents such as process flows, use cases, business rules, and requirement documents.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Manage assigned projects, track progress, and provide regular status updates.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives across business functions.
• Perform data analysis, create reports, and develop ad-hoc SQL queries when required.
• Participate in quality reviews and support testing activities.

Requirements:

• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases.
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in business requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of process modelling, use cases, activity diagrams, and workflow documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead meetings, manage projects, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle databases, Java, OLTP systems, and client-server applications.
• Familiarity with Visio, Microsoft Office Suite, WinSCP, and related tools.
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification is a plus.
