The incumbent is responsible for collecting, consolidating, validating,\nand maintaining operational and sustainability -related data, supporting\nreporting, compliance and certification processes, including the Bonsucro\ncertification, coordinating field data collection activities, verification\nactivities and ensuring that all documentation, records and audit evidence are\nproperly maintained. The role contributes to the monitoring of sustainability\nperformance, the implementation of responsible agricultural practices, and the\ndelivery of sustainability programmes and projects across the business.\n\nDUTIES\nAND RESPONSIBILITIES\nSustainability Data Management\n\nCollect, consolidate, validate, and\nmaintain ESG and sustainability-related data from agricultural operations.\nPerform data entry, analysis, and\nreporting to support sustainability performance monitoring.\nEnsure the accuracy, completeness,\nand integrity of sustainability databases and records.\nPrepare periodic sustainability\nreports and dashboards as required.\nContribute to the development and\ncontinuous improvement of sustainability dashboards, databases and reporting\nsystems.\n\nCertification & Compliance Support\n\nAssist in the coordination of the\nBonsucro certification process, including data gathering and documentation.\nSupport gap assessments by\ncollecting relevant operational and compliance information.\nMaintain certification records and\nevidence files required for audits and annual verifications.\nEnsure audit documentation is\norganized, updated, and readily accessible.\nSupport the implementation and\nmonitoring of corrective actions arising from audits, assessments and\ncertification reviews.\n\nField Data Collection & Coordination\n\nCoordinate with operational teams to\ncollect field data related to sustainability indicators and agricultural\npractices.\nConduct site visits and field\noperation audits as and when required.\nMonitor data submission timelines\nand follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.\nSupport the implementation and\nmonitoring of sustainable agriculture practices across operations.\nSupport the collection, management\nand analysis of spatial and GIS-related data to support agricultural,\nenvironmental and sustainability monitoring. \nAssist with field mapping, data\nvisualisation and geographic analysis where required.\n\nAudit & Documentation Management\n\nMaintain audit-ready documentation\nand filing systems.\nSupport internal and external audits\nby preparing required data and records.\nLiaise with operational teams to\nensure compliance documentation is complete and up to date.\nMaintain document control systems\nand ensure traceability of sustainability, environmental and certification\nrecords.\n\nStakeholder Coordination\n\nCollaborate with internal\ndepartments to facilitate sustainability data collection and reporting.\nSupport communications with\ncertification bodies, auditors, and sustainability consultants when required.\nProvide administrative support for\nsustainability projects and initiatives.\nSupport the coordination and\nimplementation of Group sustainability projects and initiatives across\noperational teams.\nSupport awareness and\ncapacity-building activities related to sustainability and the certification\nprocess and practices.\n\nCANDIDATE’S PROFILE\n\nQualifications Required: \n\n1–2 years of experience in\nsustainability, agriculture, environmental management, GIS, data analysis, or\nrelated fields.\nDegree in Agriculture, Environmental\nScience, Sustainability, Geography, GIS, Data Analytics or a related\ndiscipline.\nExperience with ESG reporting,\ncertification processes or GIS would be an advantage.\n\nKey competences (Knowledge, Skills,\nAttitudes, Behaviours):\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and\ndata management tools.\nStrong analytical and numerical\nskills.\nExcellent attention to detail and\naccuracy.\nGood organizational and document\nmanagement skills.\nAbility to compile and present\ninformation clearly.\nStrong communication and\ninterpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and\ncollaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to work in outdoor/field\nconditions for data collection and internal auditing of operations.\nKnowledge of sustainability\nstandards and certification schemes such as Bonsucro would be an
