You’ll build paid search strategies grounded in client business objectives and run your own portfolio of clients. You’ll also set the standards and best practices for our search work. Reporting to our Chief Strategy Officer, you’ll guide other search specialists and work with our planning team so that search is part of each client’s broader media strategy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop paid search strategies and recommendations tied to client business outcomes, in partnership with our media planners.\nBuild, optimize and report on campaigns across your own client portfolio.\nSet and maintain agency standards for account structure, campaign setup, measurement, conversion tracking and QA.\nGuide other search specialists through recommendation reviews, quality checks and feedback.\nBring search insights (query trends, demand signals, competitive activity) into planning sessions to inform decisions beyond search.\nPresent search strategies and results to clients alongside account leads.\nTrack how AI-driven search experiences are changing paid search, and develop points of view to share internally and with clients.\nYou Have\n4+ years of hands-on paid search experience, ideally in an agency.\nDeep expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.\nStrong command of conversion tracking and web analytics.\nExperience setting up or auditing account structures and campaign standards.\nThe ability to connect search performance to business outcomes and explain your thinking clearly to clients and colleagues.\nComfort managing multiple clients and working with different leads as account pairings change.\nExperience mentoring or reviewing other specialists’ work.\nNice to Have\nExposure to integrated media planning, including traditional channels.\nExperience working in Google’s SA360.\nGoogle and Microsoft certifications.\nExperience with Basecamp, our project management system.\nWhile this role allows for remote and hybrid work, it’s ideal if you are in proximity to one of our offices in Langley, Calgary or Regina, and can attend meetings in person.
