This role is anchored in our Calgary office, though we’re open applicants throughout Western Canada. Remote work is supported, provided the successful candidate can easily attend in-person meetings and travel as needed.\nWe require new team members with excellent computer skills and the ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy. Strong attention to detail is key. The ideal candidates will be able to perform well under pressure and manage tight deadlines. An education or background in media and advertising is considered valuable but not essential.\nThe successful candidates will participate in the day-to-day media efforts of accounts including research, administration, managing budget control reports, and posting all facets of media campaigns that we place on behalf of our clients.\nThis work will involve:\nSupport in the development and execution of media plans, estimates and buys\nReporting on campaigns\nAssist the accounting department\nAudience analysis using syndicated research software\nContact with media suppliers to make time and space reservations\nAttending client and supplier presentations meetings (as appropriate)\nMedia buy file maintenance\nData entry and report generation (as required)\nWorking in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint\nVarious administrative functions\nAbout Mediology\nMediology is proud to be one of Canada’s largest independent media groups.
