The candidate will be\nresponsible for implementing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting\nnetwork security solutions while ensuring a secure and resilient IT environment.\nJob Description\nKey Responsibilities\nManage and support Palo Alto firewalls, including policy configuration, NAT, VPN, troubleshooting, and security rule reviews.\nAdminister Zscaler solutions, including Internet Security, ZIA/ZPA policies, user access, troubleshooting, and security controls.\nWork with Illumio for micro-segmentation, application dependency mapping, policy creation, and workload security.\nManage and support Check Point firewalls, including firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and security rule administration.\nMonitor network security events and investigate potential security incidents and anomalies.\nPerform firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and optimization in line with security and compliance requirements.\nTroubleshoot network connectivity and security-related issues across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.\nCollaborate with Network, IAM, SOC, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams for security implementation and incident resolution.\nParticipate in vulnerability remediation, security assessments, and network hardening activities.\nMaintain security documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.\nSupport security audits, compliance requirements, and evidence collection.\nParticipate in change management, incident management, and problem management processes.\nStay current with emerging network security threats, technologies, and best practices.\nRequired Skills\n6+ years of experience in Network Security / Cybersecurity.\nStrong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.\nWorking experience with Zscaler security solutions.\nExperience with Illumio micro-segmentation and workload security.\nExperience with Check Point firewall technologies.\nGood understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.\nUnderstanding of security concepts including Zero Trust, network segmentation, firewall security, threat prevention, IDS/IPS, and secure remote access.\nKnowledge of security incident management, vulnerability management, and security best practices.\nGood analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\nPreferred Certifications\nPalo Alto PCNSA / PCNSE\nCheck Point CCSA / CCSE\nZscaler certifications\nSecurity certifications such as Security+ is an advantage.\nClick here to learn more about a career in IT at Medline!\nOur benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
