Primarily, this role is charged with researching and resolving vendor chargeback disputes, with added emphasis on identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost savings across the division. This will be achieved through a detailed review of vendor chargeback dispute files, a thorough understanding and commitment to internal processes, and an eye for identifying areas of opportunity.Job Description\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for research, analysis, reporting and optimization of the division’s vendor chargebacks.\nCollaborate with vendors, sales reps, group purchasing organizations, and other stakeholders, in order to identify issues, determine financially responsible party, disposition chargeback disputes, and make changes to our chargebacks system where applicable.\nParticipate in root cause analysis to recommend best practices to the business as well as our participating vendor partners.\nLead sessions with vendors to elicit business requirements and build/maintain the distributor/vendor partnership.\nConduct detailed investigations into various issues that may affect chargebacks, including but not limited to, customer identification, contracted customer eligibility lists, contracted item pricing, and Medline acquisition costs.\nWork cross-functionally to identify improvements which decrease risk and improve efficiency.\nAbility to operate well under pressure and independently manage workload to maintain strict deadlines.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nNone\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nIntermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, LEFT function, formulas, data manipulation, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables and concatenate cells.\nAdvanced quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to analyze reports to identify problems and the root cause of variances and develop suggested corrective action.\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nNone\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nExperience with SAP.\nCustomer service experience.\nExperience manipulating large sets of data for analysis using advanced features like Power Query.\nLeverage AI tools like Copilot to automate tasks or enhance your productivity.\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$54,000.00 - $81,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
