If you're a hands-on, analytical problem solver who enjoys automation, troubleshooting, and improving and creating processes, we'd love to hear from you.\nJob Description\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMaintain the Process Hazard Analysis, P&IDs (process and instrumentation diagrams), procedures and electrical schematics.\nMaintain the PLC program, HMI program, database and Information Systems.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and instrument problems.\nDesign, test, troubleshoot, and oversee implementation of new processes. Design and install retrofits to existing systems\nCreate and implement new strategies and new automation processes to improve process efficiency.\nMaintain quality assurance on the control systems in manufacturing.\nMaintain the controls for facility equipment.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor of Science In Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nExperience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nExperience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.\nExperience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.\nPosition requires work on extended and /or \"odd\" or \"on call\" hours as business needs dictate.\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nNone\nCertification / Licensure:\nProfessional Engineering License.\nEIT (Engineering in Training) completion.\nWork Experience:\nAt least 2 years of engineering experience with instrumentation & controls in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nProficient in Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, RSViewSE, Vantage Point, Historian, SQL.\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$85,000.00 - $128,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
