As an Inventory Associate, you will be responsible for performing cycle counts, creating approvals, managing stock, and utilizing the SAP system along with Microsoft Office programs to ensure accurate inventory. Additionally, you will play a key role in performing root cause analysis and reconciling discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.Job Description\nPosition Type: Temporary, Full Time\nLocation: Guelph, Ontario\nReport to: National Sr. Inventory Manager/Warehouse Supervisor\nShift: Mon-Fri: 8:00AM-4:30PM\nPay Rate: $22.00/hour\nResponsibilities\nConduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and reconcile any discrepancies found\nPerform root cause analysis to investigate and identify the underlying causes of inventory discrepancies and develop corrective actions\nCoordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or issues\nReconcile inventory records, including identifying and rectifying discrepancies between physical counts and system data\nEnsure compliance with established inventory control policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements\nUtilize the SAP ERP system to perform inventory-related transactions, such as, issuing, transferring, and adjusting inventory\nManages inventory by blocking and releasing inventory due to stock checks, damage to products, quality purposes and product recall\nCreate approvals for inventory movement, ensuring proper authorization and documentation\nAssist in the implementation and improvement of inventory management processes and procedures\nAdjust damaged and returned products and verifies receipt against approved authorization.\nCompletes all activities and documentation, accurately, and in a timely basis in compliance with GMP and company procedures\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols\n Qualifications & Skills\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPrevious experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or related roles is preferred\nThe ability to operate material handling equipment - licensed with any one of the following forklifts\nRaymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker is a bonus\nStrong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills\nStrong listening and problem resolution skills; strong organizational skills;\nAbility to work independently as well as in a team\nHigh sense of urgency and customer service\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, ex: excel, and word\nComfortable working at heights (Operating MHE)\nSafety conscious with the ability to operate material handling equipment (not limited to motorized forklifts) and lift up to 50 lbs in weight\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$19.81 - $29.71 HourlyThis job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
