Work with a team to maintain high product quality.\nOur Machine Operator I starting pay rate is $18 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential for overnight\nSchedule: AM (6am-630pm) PM (6pm-630am); 2/2/3 rotating schedule\nJob Description\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nMachine Operation & Maintenance:Operate, monitor, and set up various production and packaging equipment safely.\nPerform minor maintenance and repairs; address equipment issues and involve maintenance when\nnecessary.\n\nQuality Control:Verify correct inserts, labels, and pouches for each lot.\nCheck product output for quality and accuracy; adjust processes to maintain high quality.\nDocument machine attributes and parameters on required forms and logs.\n\nPackaging & Handling:Weigh products before packaging; operate equipment to process and package materials.Load and transport finished products; seal and verify packaging integrity\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:Communicate with packers on the line status and new jobs.\nFill out requisition forms for shortages and scrap components; complete scrap reports.\nAssist in maintaining proper line clearance; perform backup duties and other projects as assigned\nMaintain a clean and safe work area; ensure orderly housekeeping.\nComplete regular cleaning of equipment and production areas.\n\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nNone.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nMust be able to read and communicate in English.\nBasic math (addition and subtraction) required.\nAbility to work well with others in order to accomplish team objectives.\nMust be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.\nMust have high sense of urgency.\nRepetitive hand movement must be made to place components in trays and to wrap the tray.\nNeeds to lift totes of components.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nRequires lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.\nMay need to work in various settings including warm or cold environments, closed-sterile environment.\nMust be able to follow procedures for the clean room that may include attire and personal hygiene.\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nPrevious production/manufacturing experience preferred.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nNone\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$17.25 - $25.00 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
