Primary responsibilities are to maintain and repair industrial equipment to support production and ensure quality standards. Under limited supervision you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal production performance.Job Description\nTo learn more about us, check out THIS video on YouTube!\nResponsibilities:\nPerform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, and rebuild on assigned converting equipment, production lines, automation, and ancillary equipment as needed.\n\nPerform routine troubleshooting of assigned out of service equipment and correct issues, act as an escalation point for lower level technicians, and escalate to leadership and/or more senior technicians as needed. Record all maintenance issues in maintenance log for each line.\n\nDocument all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems as appropriate and maintain accurate records of all operating logs for hammermills, unwinders, dust collector system, stacker/bagger, case packers & other converting equipment.\n\nPerform root cause analysis of major downtime events.\n\nAssist maintenance mechanics in work that requires two people or when operational needs demand.\n\nAssemble and test equipment to verify correct operation and production. Analyze and record cause of production delays on daily production reports and initiate procedures to solve equipment malfunctions.\n\nExamine defects and analyze root cause analysis and, where possible, take corrective action and verify the corrective action has eliminated the problems.\n\nRequired Experience:\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nWork Experience\n3 year of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance\n\nFundamental understanding of machinery/equipment\n\nBasic skill level in multiple computer software packages including Microsoft Excel\n\nBasic understanding of inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems and ability to troubleshoot these systems\n\nWrite documents and reports using CMMS (EAM infor) program\n\nRead information, often in small print (drawings)\n\nFollow appropriate safety procedures such as Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc. and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment, and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAt least 3 years of high-speed manufacturing experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing converting equipment and production lines.\n\nExperience removing, rebuilding, and replacing major production line modules (e.g., belts, gearboxes, bearings). Experience repairing and maintaining conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment is a plus\n\nAssociates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
