Remain up-to-date with new developments in the field, nationally and internationally, and incorporate as required\nResearch, plan, and implement new products, programs, and/or protocols.\nManagement responsibilities include:\n--Day-to-day operations of a group of employees.\n--May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact;\n--Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects and develops.\n--Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies.\n--Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning.\n--Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related field.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nAt least 4 years of R&D experience in the healthcare industry.\nAt least 2 years of leadership responsibility (managing directly).\nExperience assessing and initiating actions independently. Experience taking charge of a situation, team or project.\nExperience processing all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing clear and concise conclusions.\nExperience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nNone\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nBachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biology or related field.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nAt least 5 years of R&D experience in the healthcare industry.\nExperience controlling and coordinating concurrent projects, competing priorities and critical deadlines.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nNone\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$134,000.00 - $201,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
