Maintain inventory integrity of components and finished items.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nOversee and coordinate product processing\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to eliminate waste, improve process flow, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity, taking corrective actions when necessary.\nSupport and sustain 5S workplace organization standards to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.\nMonitor backorder reports and production scheduling and coordinate resources to ensure minimal backorders. Ensure overall quality of the items produced.\nCreate inventory transfers and production orders to meet the established production schedules and service levels.\nCreate all needed paperwork, the completion of all required functions and the electronic receipt of finished goods. Ensure compliance with all regulatory functions that apply.\nEnsure inventory integrity for components and finished product.\nCommunicate with product divisions on backordered items and substitute items.\nAct as back-up on/for production equipment, material handling and warehouse.\nDevelop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.\nRequired Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious SAP and Catalyst experience.\nAt least 2 years previous production experience. \nPrevious experience as a department lead or supervisor a plus. \nAt least 1 year of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people as they work.\nKnowledge of Lean tools and methodologies such as 5S, standard work, visual management, waste reduction, Kaizen, and root cause problem solving.\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$73,000.00 - $110,000.00 AnnualThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible.
