Responsible for inspecting materials, components, and/or finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting visual and measurement tests, documenting findings, and reporting any defects or discrepancies. This role will work closely with production or distribution teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to the overall improvement of processes.Shift: Monday-Friday 9:30AM - 6:00PM\nJob Description\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and/or finished products. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.\nUse measurement tools and equipment to test and verify product dimensions and specifications.\nIdentify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.\nCollaborate with respective production or distribution teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, or determine disposition of product.\nAssist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.\nAssess inbound damaged finished goods and repackage.\nSupport various tasks including inventory stock checks, recall stock verifications, handling deviations, relabeling, product rework, pedigree verification, and other assigned projects\nMay be required to operate powered material handling equipment.\nRead and interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents.\nComply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and Medline’s rules and regulations.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nTypically requires High School Diploma or equivalent.\nCertification / Licensure:\nNo experience required.\nWork Experience:\nNone\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nAbility to read, write, speak and understand English.\nAttention to details.\nVision abilities including close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nBasic math skills including addition, subtraction and fractional to decimal conversions.\nPosition requires:\nWorking in hot and cold environments.\nSitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods, with frequent twisting and bending.\nWorking in PPE or company issued gowns for prolonged periods\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to prioritize quickly in a fast paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to process all relevant details, understanding and prioritizing their importance and drawing concise conclusions.\nBasic computer skills.\nAbility to apply basic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820, 210 - 211.\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nNone\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nPrevious experience with powered warehouse equipment preferred.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nNone\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$18.50 - $26.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
