Responsibilities include investigating and documenting held finished goods, managing holds and releases, completing rework assignments, inspecting raw materials and finished goods using various methods, recording inspection results, providing product disposition, ensuring inventory control, performing final inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures and company policies.Job Description\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:\nApply and remove holds in the system and Q-Tag.\nAssess and repackage inbound damaged goods.\nCommunicate with divisional partners to determine product disposition.\nMaintain communication with branch personnel and divisional partners.\nOperate material handling equipment (e.g., reach truck, order picker) to manage inventory.\nAssist with item adjustments and other inventory-related tasks.\nPrioritize and perform recall activities, including stock checks, deviations, relabels, product rework, and pedigree verification.\nCoordinate project/rework areas and resources.\nMaintain daily reports of held stock using SAP, Excel, and other systems.\nEnsure compliance with SOPs and regulations; communicate with management to address non-conformances.\nMaintain hazardous waste logs and perform weekly audits.\nUse computer systems for communication, reporting, and tracking project time.\nRecommend methods to increase efficiency.\nEnsure shipments are from licensed vendors and maintain electronic logs.\nPerform in-process and final inspections; complete inspection documentation.\nOperate test equipment and perform measurements.\nIdentify defects and initiate non-conforming material reports.\nCommunicate effectively with quality assurance and production groups.\nVerify and approve line start-up and equipment requirements.\nParticipate in continual improvement and customer satisfaction efforts.\nRead and interpret engineering instructions and other documents.\nComply with quality systems, GMP, GDP, OSHA, and company regulations.\nReview manufacturing/production documents to ensure accuracy.\nPerform line clearance procedures for product release.\nReview and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and substitutions.\nMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nTypically requires High School Diploma or equivalent.\nCertification / Licensure:\nAt least 1 years of quality control experience in a regulated industry setting.\nWork Experience:\nNone\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nProficiency in using powered warehouse equipment.\nAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.\nStrong attention to detail, including the ability to read and understand labeling information, discern differences in similar products or packaging, and identify differences in character sequences (e.g., Lot, Expiration, Date of Manufacture).\nBasic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and fractional to decimal conversions.\nBasic computer skills, including the ability to generate Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) or certificates as necessary, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).\nAbility to work in hot and cold environments.\nCapability to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods, with frequent twisting and bending.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to process all relevant details, understand and prioritize their importance, and draw concise conclusions.\nBasic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820, 210-211.\nPREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:\nEducation:\nNone\nCertification / Licensure:\nNone\nWork Experience:\nAt least 2 years of quality control experience in a regulated industry setting.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nNone\nMedline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries, offer a competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.\nThe anticipated salary range for this position:\n$23.25 - $33.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
