Our internships span a variety of business areas and are open to rising seniors in undergraduate programs. Designed to support both personal and professional growth, the 10-week summer program runs from early June through mid-August in one of our four corporate offices in the Chicagoland area.
The Quality Engineer Intern position will entail managing multiple projects related to product quality; i.e. Design Files, Risk Analysis., CAPA process, 510k data collection, product testing, creating documentation for the Master Device Record, etc. We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and hard-working professional looking for hands on experience at a large healthcare company.
Possible projects could include:
- Developing test plans to evaluate new and existing products
- Authoring Device Master Records, Design Controls, protocols, reports, and other critical Quality documentation
- Investigating customer/sales force complaints and assuring files are addressed and closed on time
- Engaging in process improvement activities related to product quality and regulatory compliance
- Contributing to product design and development, including generation of documentation required for submission to the FDA
- Supporting CAPA’s, SCAR’s, supplier maintenance, risk analysis, and more!
Qualifications:
- Engineering or Science related majors preferred
- Junior standing with 3.0 minimum GPA preferred
- Detail oriented with superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Good documentation skills and an attention to detail
- Design project experience
- Unrestricted permanent US work authorization

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$23.25 - $33.75 HourlyThe actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
