Challenges will include an ongoing strategic technology expansion; Onboarding and Team building; Vendor Management; Ability to transition the existing team to industry standard Engineering, Agile & DevOps practices; Ability to transform from reactive to proactive approach; Ability to partner with the business in assessing needs and managing expectations for engineering build solutions for as is and to be states; Ability to partner with Business, Infrastructure and IS leads to support value-creating technology development and ensuring high quality and performance of production systems. Technology stack can be learned but, must have a record of success in operationalizing and supporting a world class ecommerce operation as part of delivery.\nThe ideal candidate for the Senior Manager of e-Commerce position is results-oriented, organized, and analytical. It requires a proactive person with the ability to problem solve - often on the fly.
