He should perform application migrations, daily system monitoring, production support, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware and server resources.\nJob Description\nRequired Skills:\n5+ years of software administration experiencein Business Intelligence, Business Objects, Tableau, Power BI, Data & Report Engineering, or related roles\nExperience with Business Intelligence tool administration, includingInstalling and testing software patches\nTesting of database patches and hardware upgrades\nDeveloping KPIs such as cost, availability, utilization of applications\nSupport ticket investigation and resolution\nSecurity and user access administration\n\nExperience coordinating with infrastructure teams such as network, DBA, and SAP Basis teams\nExperience with reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects (BO), Tableau and Power BI\nDemonstrated ability to work with virtual teams across the globe\nCandidate with experience in AI with Automation and Data agents\nGood experience in applications hosted on Azure (Azure hands on Engineering applications is preferred)\nCandidate should have experience in Fabric workload Operations \nExcellent oral and written communication skills with ability to independently engage all stakeholders onsite and offshore\nStrong understanding of SDLC and engineering operations practices.\nExperience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools such as Jira.\nStrong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, task management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.\nCertifications in relevant BI and cloud technologies (preferably Azure) are a plus.\nDesired Skills (Good To Have):\nBO Development experience\nExperience with Active Directory and SSO\nKnowledge in Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI, Azure services including Microsoft Fabric\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrated problem solving abilities\nResponsibilities:\nResearch and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks for applications installed on Linux and/or Windows\nPerform application migrations, daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources.\nRepair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted IT Teams.\nRecommend Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.\nWrite PERL/Python scripts to automate needs such as monitoring server resources.\nContribute to and maintain system standards.\nCreate and maintain Systems Administration Procedures & Processes documents.\nDevelops and maintains KPIs on BI applications such as cost, availability, utilization\nConducts analysis and implements comprehensive solutions to improve the availability of BI applications\nEvaluates, installs and tests software patches and upgrades to BI applications\nReviews application resource consumption and implement improvements such as load balancing and job scheduling to improve application performance\nResolves application outages and implement corrective and preventative actions to mitigate future incidents\nImplements auditing processes to analyze usage of reporting objects and applications\nManages user access permissions with BI applications\nIdentifies priorities, risks, and integration points between BI applications\nReviews and maintains backup, archival, and disaster recovery plans\nEducation\nIT Graduate (BE, BTech, MCA) preferred.\nExperience of working in Captive is a plus.\nClick here to learn more about a career in IT at Medline!\nOur benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average.
