services.\nThe opportunity\nAs a System Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Medline's cloud infrastructure and container platforms, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable services for business-critical applications across Europe.\nYou will work closely with infrastructure, application, security, and project teams to implement solutions, support operational excellence, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\n How can you help us?\nContinuously maintain and improve our EU Azure cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and high availability.\nParticipate in architecture and design sessions related to cloud, infrastructure, Kubernetes, and DevOps platforms.\nProactively resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis for critical issues related to Medline cloud infrastructure and the EU container platform.\nWork closely with Medline infrastructure and application teams to implement and manage secure, scalable, repeatable, and reliable infrastructure environments.\nSupport and continuously improve Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), container platforms, ingress, networking, storage, and related platform services.\nMaintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and support infrastructure automation and standardization.\nSupport and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, Helm charts, and GitOps practices.\nSupport application teams with Kubernetes deployments, cloud infrastructure requirements, and platform-related troubleshooting.\nCollaborate with teams across the IS organization to implement cloud and hybrid solutions that support business objectives.\nSupport platform lifecycle activities including upgrades, patching, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement.\nCreate and maintain technical standards, operational procedures, and platform documentation.\nAre you our match?\nRequired Qualifications\nIn-depth expertise of container-based infrastructure running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or on-premises Kubernetes platforms.\n5+ years of technical experience in system engineering, infrastructure administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, and/or support of business-critical systems.\nExceptional working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.\nWorking knowledge of version management and source control tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, and Bitbucket.\nProficiency in Microsoft Azure and cloud-based infrastructure.\nA solid background in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.\nStrong knowledge of building and supporting mission-critical infrastructure for business-critical applications.\nAdvanced troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and drive issues to root cause.\nSkilled in managing Windows and Linux Server environments.\nHands-on knowledge with Kubernetes, Helm, container registries, ingress controllers, networking, storage, and application deployment concepts.\nRemarkable experience with monitoring, log collection, analysis, and infrastructure performance optimization tools and practices.\nWorking knowledge of TCP/IP networking, routing, DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.\nSolid experience with Rancher.\nKnowledge of software development practices and methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, and GitOps.\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD and artifact management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, and Artifactory.\nExtensive experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus.\nAbility to see the “big picture” and align technical solutions with the organization’s direction and standards.\nStrong service-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively with application, infrastructure, security, and project teams.\nMotivated with a strong desire to deliver exceptional results in a fast-growing and international organization.\nProfessional proficiency in English, with German or
