This role also performs calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation to help ensure equipment remains in a state of control and fit for its intended use in the non-GMP research environment. They coordinate vendor services, oversee maintenance, and handle security protocols to support daily business operations. We are looking to fill this role in January of 2027.\nKey Responsibilities\nCoordinate incoming and outgoing sample shipments, perform sample logging and tracking, and manage shipments and receiving\nCoordinate and perform internal and external safety and equipment inspections and testing\nSupport environmental monitoring activities and maintain required documentation\nCoordinate laboratory equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration activities\nPerform corrective and preventative maintenance calibrations on laboratory instrumentation and equipment\nPerform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of electrical circuits, components, and analytical laboratory instruments\nEnter and update CMMS system information relevant to calibrations performed\nProvide recommendations for instrumentation and metrology spare parts and preventative maintenance procedures\nWork closely with R&D scientific teams at Emperor Boulevard to help ensure instrumentation remains compliant and fit for its intended use in the non-GMP research environment\nSupport calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used in bioanalytical, research biology, and in vitro testing at Emperor Boulevard\nAssist in the maintenance and review of calibration standards and vendor calibration documentation\nWork with contract service providers and support contractors executing calibration and metrology activities\nTrack equipment status, managing laboratory asset records \nManage compressed gas cylinders and liquid nitrogen, including safety checks and inventory\nPerform daily and weekly building walks to identify maintenance or safety issues\nEscort facility and laboratory vendors as required\nSupport generator maintenance and review service agreements\nSupport general building needs and unscheduled facilities visits\nCoordinate refrigeration preventative maintenance with vendors and departments\nManage glassware cleaning operations\nOrder, receive, resupply, and track laboratory consumables\nPerform inventory checks and stock management\nCoordinate lab coat services, office housekeeping and cleaning activities\nSupport general laboratory supply needs including tissue procurement\nOrder office supplies\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree in life sciences, facilities management, or a related field, or equivalent experience\nExperience working in a laboratory, research, or regulated environment preferred\nFamiliarity with chemical and biohazard waste handling procedures\nExperience coordinating vendors and managing service schedules\nStrong organizational, documentation, and communication skills\nExperience with CMMS, inventory systems, and ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite) preferred\nExperience with instrumentation calibration, maintenance, or troubleshooting of laboratory equipment preferred\nAbility to recognize what needs to be done, taking action, and accomplishing results as the situation demands\nSupervisory
