If we have arguments or miscommunication, we resolve conflicts quickly and empathetically.\n\nThe Role:\nWe are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to help scale our production. As one of our first hires manufacturing team you will work very closely our hardware team to make our bring our automated lab to life. You will be responsible for building, testing and and providing feedback on the hardware that our robots need to fully automate customer protocols. A love for operating in an experimental and fast paced environment is a must.\nIn this role, you will:\nHelp build, test, maintain and ship our robotic systems\n\nFollow detailed work instructions and provide feedback to help improve our product and processes\n\nMaintain inventory of our components and finished assemblies\n\nMaintain a clean and organized workspace\n\nLet's talk if you have:\nStrong mechanical intuition and hardware debugging and assembly skills\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to thoroughly follow written instructions\n\nClear and concise written and verbal communication skills\n\nExperience building, testing, and scaling hardware\n\nA hacker’s mindset and are a quick learner\n\nWillingness to cross discipline boundaries to solve a problem\n\nKnow your way around rapid prototyping technology\n\nA willingness to wear many hats / a flexible attitude towards responsibilities and scope\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience\n\nBonus points if you have:\nAbility to read, interpret and work from technical drawings\n\nExperience with CAD and PLM packages\n\nKnowledge of robotics, motion control, camera, force/torque sensors\n\nExperience or familiarity with robot arm manipulators\n\nExperience working in a laboratory or research environment\n\nWhat we offer:\n401k\n\nMedical insurance\n\nDental Insurance\n\nRelocation benefits\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\nWeekday dinners\n\nThis position is 100% in-person, you must be able to come on-site to our San Francisco office.
