Advocate Level I\nJob Description\n\nPosition Summary\nThe Patient Advocate is responsible for retaining client loyalty and referrals by consistently delivering clear, efficient and valuable support to all callers while providing communication with Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers in order to establish a best-in-class customer experience.\nThe Patient Advocate is further responsible for lending support, guidance and positivity toward all patients and clients alike while using the collaborative power of team work to achieve common goals and maintain desired results.\nThe ideal Patient Advocate is someone who strives to be empathetic and passionate in their work with patients while accomplishing their objectives for the success of the business.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\nMake outbound calls to schedule patients in a timely manner to ensure that internal and external metrics are met.\nUnderstand MedRisk’s interdepartmental procedures, policies and comply with them\nMeet MedRisk’s Department goals for Quality and Quantity of work input.\nComplete special projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor\nProvide best in class customer service to all callers\nWork on cases that requires investigation for missing information that is necessary to schedule patients for their initial evaluations\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree preferred\nExcellent communication skills\nSelf-motivated\nStrong work ethic\nAbility to multi task in a fast paced environment and to work independently\nDetail oriented, time management and solid organizational skills\nAbility to think critically \nSolid MS Word, Excel and Outlook experience\nStrong data entry
