The role sets milestones, aligns operations and technology teams, and brings structure to complex, multi-stakeholder work so that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the standards MedRisk expects. Working in a modern delivery environment, the Project Manager applies hybrid and Agile practices as appropriate, uses AI-enabled tools to improve planning, reporting, and collaboration while maintaining human accountability for every decision, and ensures that data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements are built into project plans from the start. This position partners with internal and external stakeholders, exercises sound judgment in prioritization and escalation, and maintains discretion and confidentiality in all duties and responsibilities.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities\nPortfolio Intake & Prioritization\nManage the queue of medium to large projects, applying defined prioritization criteria such as business value, risk, strategic alignment, and capacity.\nFacilitate intake sessions with internal and external clients to clarify requests, define scope, and agree on deliverables and priorities.\nRequirements & Planning\nDocument business requirements in sufficient detail for end business users to confidently sign off before development begins.\nTranslate business and data requirements into functional specifications and clear acceptance criteria for development and QA teams, including user stories where Agile delivery is used.\nEstablish milestones, schedules, and resource plans, selecting a delivery approach (Agile or hybrid) that fits the initiative.\nDelivery Execution & Reporting\nTrack project progress in Jira or other project tracking tools and communicate status frequently and clearly to all stakeholders through dashboards and written reports.\nUse AI-enabled productivity tools to draft meeting summaries, status updates, and action items, and review all AI-generated content for accuracy before distribution.\nDelegate project tasks to team members based on individual strengths, skill sets, growth goals, and experience levels.\nRisk, Issue & Dependency Management\nMaintain RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies) and proactively drive timely resolution with owners.\nEscalate significant risks, issues, and resource conflicts to management in a timely manner to avoid delays.\nChange Management & Adoption\nPlan and support change management activities, including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption planning, so that new systems and processes are successfully embraced.\nGovernance, Security & Responsible Technology Use\nEnsure data privacy, information security, and regulatory requirements are identified and addressed in project plans and deliverables.\nFollow MedRisk policies for the responsible use of AI tools, including the protection of confidential and sensitive information and appropriate human review of AI-assisted work.\nIdentify opportunities where AI or automation can improve delivery efficiency, and coordinate with IT before adopting new tools.\nMeasurement & Continuous Improvement\nTrack delivery outcomes such as schedule performance, budget adherence, quality, and benefits realization, and use the results to improve planning.\nCapture lessons learned and contribute to PMO standards, templates, and practices.\nProfessional Development\nMaintain current knowledge of project management practices, delivery methodologies, and emerging AI and automation tools by participating in training, reading professional publications, and engaging with professional networks.\nOther\nAdhere to MedRisk's standard practices and policies to ensure the integrity and quality of deliverables.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 3+ years of project management experience delivering software, system, or process initiatives in a cross-functional environment.\nProficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or MS Project) and the Microsoft 365 suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Visio).\nWorking knowledge of AI productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude), with sound judgment about their appropriate use, data handling, and limitations.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.\nAdvanced time management and analytical skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.\nPersonable, with demonstrated ability to build trust and motivate colleagues to work together efficiently.\nPreferred:\nPMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, or equivalent project management certification.\nExperience leading Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery, including scaled Agile frameworks.\nExperience leading projects that involve AI, automation, or data platform implementations.\nFamiliarity with healthcare, risk, or other regulated data environments and associated privacy requirements.\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.\nStrong interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and conflict
