Join us in tackling exciting challenges at the intersection of healthcare and technology.\nAs we continue our accelerated growth trajectory, we are seeking an Assistant General Counsel to work closely with the general counsel to help build and scale the legal department and manage complex legal and regulatory risks across our e-commerce, telehealth, and pharmacy operations. to executive leadership on complex, high-impact legal and regulatory matters.\nStrategy & Risk: Establish and scale legal frameworks, policies, and controls aligned with company risk tolerance and growth objectives.\nDepartment Management: Lead, mentor, and oversee the legal department, ensuring high-quality work product and professional development.\nLitigation & Transactions: Oversee critical company transactions and manage litigation matters, including the oversight of outside counsel strategy and budgets.\nRegulatory Advisory: Proactively advise leadership on evolving regulatory landscapes and associated business risks.\nCompliance Frameworks: Maintain and scale corporate compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal and state healthcare laws.\nTelehealth Standards: Monitor evolving state medical board regulations, corporate practice of medicine (CPOM) doctrines, and remote prescribing laws to ensure compliance. \nRegulatory Advisory: Proactively advise leadership on evolving regulatory landscapes and associated business risks. \nLicensing and Accreditation Management: Help oversee and manage the portfolio of accreditations and pharmacy licenses across all operating jurisdictions and coordinate responses to inquiries, audits, and inspections. \nFDA Alignment: Provide guidance on FDA regulations and concerning prescription medications, drug labeling, and advertising standards for consumer health platforms. \nPrivacy & Security: Manage adherence to privacy laws and data security standards governing patient health information. \nGeneral Counsel Support: Serve as a trusted partner to the General Counsel, helping prioritize and manage the legal department's workload, including in launching new products and in new territories. \nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nEducation: Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school with an active bar membership.\nExperience: 7+ years of legal regulatory or compliance experience, ideally in the telehealth /compounding pharmacy space.\n\nOperations: Proven experience managing regulatory inquiries and compliance frameworks within afast-paced, regulated environment.\n\nSpecialization: Deep experience of healthcare regulatory laws and compliance, such as state andfederal pharmacy laws, e-commerce regulations, telehealth, corporate practice of
