The Buyer Planner plays a key role in balancing supply and demand, managing supplier performance, and driving continuity of supply while supporting operational and service level goals.\nThis position is based in the Dominican Republic and follows a Flex work arrangement. Travel of up to 10% may be required to support supplier engagement, business meetings, training activities, or operational initiatives.\nJob Description field\nThe Buyer Planner II is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing inventory levels to support production and customer requirements. This role partners closely with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, logistics, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure material availability, mitigate supply risks, and maintain inventory performance. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and fluency in both English and Spanish.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPlan and execute material purchases to meet production schedules and customer demand.\nMonitor inventory levels and implement actions to maintain target inventory and service metrics.\nManage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, material availability, and issue resolution.\nAnalyze demand, supply, and inventory data to identify risks and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, logistics, and sourcing teams to support business objectives.\nMaintain planning parameters, purchase orders, and material master data within enterprise systems.\nLead or support resolution of supplier shortages, delivery delays, and material escalations.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and operational efficiency.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, purchasing, procurement, manufacturing, or related operations roles.\nFluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.\nExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for purchasing, planning, or inventory management.\nExperience analyzing inventory, demand planning, and supplier performance data.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business reporting tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industries.\nExperience with SAP or other advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.\nKnowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory control methodologies.\nExperience supporting supplier performance improvement and supply continuity initiatives.\nAPICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification or similar supply chain certification.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
