The team partners with Sales, Service, Logistics, Quality, and global service centres to manage repair workflows, service documentation, and customer communications.This Depot Engineer position is based in Songpa-daero, Korea and operates in an onsite environment. The role is primarily office-based with some hands-on product inspection and repair-related activities. No travel is required.\nThe Depot Engineer is responsible for inspecting medical devices, coordinating repair activities, monitoring service progress, and supporting communications with customers and overseas service centres. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely repair execution, accurate documentation, and effective service delivery throughout the repair lifecycle.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nMedium & Small Medical Device Inspection and Repair Management\nInspect incoming Medtronic small medical devices\nDetermine repair requirements based on inspection results and take follow-up actions\nManage overall repair progress and maintain service records\nReview and document repair completion results\nOverseas Repair Follow-up\nManage repair requests and progress with overseas service centers\nFollow up on repair intake, quotations, lead times, and completion schedules\nConfirm root causes and request appropriate action when delays or issues arise\nManage documentation and communication related to overseas repairs\nDomestic Customer Communication\nRespond to customer inquiries and provide updates on service progress\nCommunicate repair intake and completion results\nUnderstand customer requests and relay them internally\nHandle service-related issues with appropriate communication\nCommunication with Overseas Service Centers\nCommunicate with overseas service centers via email and, when needed, phone\nShare repair requests, product conditions, and required documentation\nConfirm service progress and respond to related follow-up items\nConduct basic English communication to support collaboration\nInternal Collaboration and Operational Support\nWork closely with Sales, Service, Logistics, and Quality teams\nCoordinate repair and service-related schedules\nManage service history and related documentation\nSupport internal sharing and follow-up actions when issues arise\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years’ experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years’ experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications and managing service documentation.\nExperience coordinating with customers and cross-functional stakeholders.\nAbility to perform product inspection and support repair-related processes.\nAbility to work onsite in Korea with no travel requirement.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in medical device service, repair operations, or technical support.\nEnglish communication skills for email correspondence and coordination with overseas service centres.\nExperience working with global service teams, suppliers, or customers.\nExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), or service management systems.\nExperience maintaining service records, repair tracking, and operational documentation.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
