Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.\nA Day in the Life\nEl Lago Site\nContract: 12 months\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.\nPlans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and directs material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of raw and approved finished goods materials timed to meet production requirements.\nAdvises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, inventory levels, and potential production or material supply disruptions to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided on-time and at an optimal cost.\nSchedules equipment and personnel, confirms material supply and demands, prepares work orders or purchase requests for the production or purchase of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.\nCoordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, demand planning, etc.; schedules and expedites the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, and requests for shipping orders.\nSPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects - from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.\nDIFFERENTIATING FACTORS\nAutonomy: Seasoned individual contributor.\nWorks independently under limited supervision to determine and develop approach to solutions.\nCoaches and reviews the work of lower level specialists; may manage projects / processes.\nOrganizational Impact: May be responsible for entire projects or processes within job area.\nContributes to the completion of work group objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments.\nInnovation and Complexity: Problems and issues faced are difficult, and may require understanding of multiple issues, job areas or specialties .\nMakes improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of the job area.\nAnalysis provided is in-depth in nature and often provides recommendations on process improvements.\nCommunication and Influence: Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors.\nExchange information of facts, statuses, ideas and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making.\nLeadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.\nMay manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product .\nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.\nMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain, preferably within a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of production planning, MPS/MRP, capacity planning, inventory management, and material requirements planning.\nExperience working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.\nExperience analyzing demand, inventory, backlog, material availability, production capacity, and customer requirements to develop and maintain executable production plans.\nDemonstrated ability to identify material or capacity constraints, assess business impact, and drive recovery/action plans with cross-functional teams.\nExperience coordinating with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Demand Planning, Warehouse/Logistics, and other Supply Chain functions.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nStrong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate priorities, risks, and recommendations to different organizational levels.\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEnglish proficiency sufficient to communicate effectively in meetings, emails, and cross-functional discussions.\nNice to Have\nExperience in the medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing industry.\nExperience with Blue Yonder (BY) or other advanced planning systems.\nExperience with Power BI or other data visualization/analytics tools.\nAPICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).\nExperience with S&OP/SIOP processes, demand and supply balancing, and inventory optimization.\nExperience managing production recovery plans, shortages, backlog, and capacity constraints.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement methodologies.\nExperience leading or participating in Kaizen, process improvement, or supply chain optimization projects.\nExperience mentoring or providing guidance to junior planners.\nExperience working with global or cross-site teams.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
