The CRM Software team is one of the most cutting edge teams within Medtronic, working with various software technologies in application software, network software, mobile software, BT/BLE communication software, and interfacing with embedded software for management and control of implantable medical devices. The CRM Software team is looking for a proactive, self-starting, strong software development engineer to build the next generation of CRM software.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nComplete ownership for preparing test automation solution, designing automation frameworks and lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans & test execution of the product.\n Conduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, code and other engineering artifacts, ensuring timely delivery to meet program commitments.\n Guide project test engineering decisions and direction.\n Take the high level requirements and independently complete test development per the defined processes.\n Design and execute project test plans and strategies.\n Collaborate with stakeholders to strategize as per the roadmap.\n Helps to get team unblocked on complex technical issues.\n Design and execute tests using automated test tools, as well as Manual test development process, for the verification of software requirements.\n Learn and understand software standards for Medical devices, ex. IEC62304.\n Support test infrastructure set up and test tool development, such as test tools, stubs, Hardware/Firmware simulators and emulators.\n Establish and maintain traceability from software requirements to verification test design and implementation.\n Design and execute tests using automated test tools, as well as Manual test development process, for the verification of software requirements.\n Participate in the technical reviews of software requirements and peer verification test development.\n Recommend new tools, techniques and methodology for improving quality and productivity.\n Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices.\n Work collaboratively with internal and external partners.\n Manage deliverables independently.\nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\n14+ years of software industry experience primarily in Software Testing Manual and Automation.\n5+ years of experience in Software/Test framework Design & architecture.\nBachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.\nPreferred: Maters in Engineering or Masters in Technology Computer Sciences, Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a premium institute.\nProficiency with one or more following programming languages: Java, C#, Java Script, python.\nExperience in working in a mobile environment with both Android and iOS.\nExpertise in Design & development of Test Automation for Mobile application and web applications.\nExpertise in developing automation using Appium and Selenium.\n5+ years of experience in leading, mentoring and coaching software test teams.\nExperience in preparing test strategy, test plans & test execution of product.\nExperience of working with Hybrid and Native mobile applications.\nExperience with software version control tools.\nHands on experience with Test Management and Defect Management tools preferably Microsoft Test Manager, Azure Devops , Power BI tools.\nExperience in both Agile and Waterfall software development methods. \nEffectively communicate and operate within a cross-functional work environment (software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers)\nStrong written and verbal communication.\nStrong Stakeholder management skills.
