CRM's unique ability to pair proven life-saving therapies with intelligent technology gives clinicians and patients greater confidence. Clinical impact and innovation come together to improve lives through meaningful patient outcomes.

In this role, you will join the Cardiac Rhythm Management R&D organization as a Software Engineer focused on automated test development for implantable cardiac devices. You will design, develop, and maintain software applications and software architecture that support automated testing throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept through verification and release.

You will play a key role in modernizing existing test infrastructure by transitioning legacy LabVIEW-based test solutions to scalable, maintainable Python and C# frameworks, and in driving the development and implementation of AI tools into the testing environment. You will leverage advanced C# features including object-oriented design principles, generics, asynchronous programming, LINQ, reflection, custom attributes, interfaces, dependency injection, and design patterns to create flexible and extensible test frameworks. Responsibilities may include developing metadata-driven architectures using reflection and custom attributes, implementing data processing and reporting solutions with LINQ, and creating APIs that enable seamless integration between test applications and hardware control systems.

You will contribute to software architecture decisions, code reviews, continuous integration workflows, and automated validation strategies while ensuring compliance with software quality and medical device development processes. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a passion for software craftsmanship, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that support life-saving medical technologies.

Responsibilities will include the following, other duties may be assigned.
