You will report to the engineering manager and collaborate regularly with teams across production, quality, maintenance, and operations. Some travel may be required to support other sites, project work, or training initiatives. The role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for learning, development, and career growth.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nResponsible for all manufacturing processes on production floor, pFMEA, Equipment URS, Working instructions, test methods, Support production training, Define Packaging instructions; Ensures processes and procedures are following regulations; Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of product lifecycle.\nProject management skills, Responsible for timelines, Scop of work, Budget.\nImplement jigs, fixtures, and other manufacturing support tools for medical device assembly and testing.\nImprove manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling; Review arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.\nDesigns sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.\nSupport manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques; Issue specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.\nDrives a continuous improvement mindset by engraining and improving the MPS (Medtronic Performance System) methodologies in the day-to-day; Execute Improvement in Yokneam Operations KPIs (Yields, Scrap, Quality, Safety, OEE).\nActs as a partner with mainly production and Quality operations and other functions in Operations and R&D sustain team.\nRequired Qualifications\nB.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant manufacturing-focused engineering field.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or process industries.\nWritten and verbal communication skills in English.\nStrong problem-solving and execution abilities.\nProactive approach; Full responsibility for the delivery of outputs, including supporting documentation; a \"Big-picture\" mindset. including influence and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as Six Sigma/Green belt or Lead Auditor (ISO 13485).\nSold work skills.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
