The Quality Engineer role is critical in supporting key department metrics thus contributing to the global strategy and to deliver on our mission to contribute to human welfare by supporting the manufacture of products that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nSupports the development, modification, application and maintenance of quality standards and procedures for manufacturing processes and finished products.\nWorks collaboratively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure compliance with quality system requirements.\nCollaborate with required stakeholders in the receive inspection function and across functions ensuring incoming materials and components meet defined specifications and regulatory requirements.\nAssists in implementing and maintaining product control measures to ensure product quality and patient safety.\nReviews quality data, identifies trends and supports problem-solving activities to address quality issues.\nSupports inspection and testing activities and assists in the analysis of product and process performance.\nApplies and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of raw materials and test equipment\nEnsure quality records and documentation are completed accurately and maintained in compliance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements.\nParticipate in preparing and facilitating investigations, providing QA technical direction and solutions as appropriate.\nContributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process effectiveness and operational performance.\nSupporting internal and external audits (BSI/MDSAP/FDA etc.).\nKey Skills & Experience\nLevel 8 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or technical field\nDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply a risk-based approach to quality issues.\nA dynamic team player and leader with the ability to work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation while developing technical and quality engineering knowledge.\nStrong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within established timelines.\nDemonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to independently plan and schedule activities.\nExperience or knowledge of quality systems, equipment IQ/OQ/PQ, validation activities or regulated industries is advantageous.\nExperience with Agile, SAP and/or SAP ME would be beneficial.\nFluent in English, both written and verbal.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
