The Quality Engineer role is critical in supporting key department metrics thus contributing to the global strategy and to deliver on our mission to contribute to human welfare by supporting the manufacture of products that alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.\nCome for a job, stay for a career!\nA Day in The Life Of:\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.\nDevelops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for releasing finished sterilised product under supervision\nCollaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.\nParticipates in preparing/critically reviewing NCMRs/CAPAs and investigations providing QA technical direction and solutions as appropriate.\nEnsures effective product control measures in the event of issues being noted.\nEnsures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.\nContribute to continuous improvement activities\nEnsure compliance to all applicable department, site-wide procedures, and regulations.\nSupport Internal and External audit preparation and activity which includes application and maintenance of quality standards for all activities associated.\nKey Skills & Experience\nMinimum NFQ Level 7 Degree in Engineering/Science or related discipline with a minimum 1-year relevant direct Science/Engineering experience within medical device environment.\nStrong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.\nPractical working knowledge of statistical data analysis, problem solving and quality improvement tools and techniques preferable.\nTechnical writing skills.\nAbility to multi-task and to take initiative is essential.\nEffective time management skills.\nBuilds and maintains positive relationships with others; shows respect and consideration for others.\nMedtronic offer a competitive salary and flexible Benefits Package\n#INDJ #LI-Onsite\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
