You will be involved in leading medium-to-high complexity supplier transfers and programmatic savings projects including technical & financial assessment of Ideas, preparingbusiness cases and project plan. Manufacturing transfers activities including supplier interaction focusing on vertical integrations, localization, cost optimizations and supplier management assignments.\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nDesign or engineering documentation gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews and remediation activities for RFQ activities.\nParticipate in ideation workshops to assess project scoping and viability through economic analysis and supplier quote validation for programatic savings projects.\nExperienced in product sustenance engineering activities with expertise across design, manufacturing methods (Stamping, Plastics, Packaging,PDC parts), production processes and regulatory compliance.\nKnowledge of medical device regulations (MDR,FDA,CE,IEC).\nSkilled in coordinating with suppliers to resolve technical queries, ensuring timely and highquality project delivery.\nCreate, Review and refine 2D drawings and 3D CAD models to support project requirements.\nHands-on experience in reverse engineering components to recreate CAD models and extract design intent using 1D principals and advanced inspection techniques (e.g., 3D scanning, measurement tools).\nDFMEA/PFMEA and design reviews to assess and mitigate design & Manufacturing risks.\nReview and validate engineering drawings for DFMA, Manufacturability, Accuracy and Completeness as per the latest Engineering standards.\nWell versed with Engineering Change management procedures using PDM/PLM Softwares (Agile, Windchill, etc.,)\nWell versed with MS and Power BI tools for reporting, data analysis and dashboard creation purpose.\nHands on experience in process/Manufacturing workflow automation using latest technologies including AI/ML,\nGood understanding and application of financial terms used for cost savings opportunities during project scoping and proposal creations.\nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\nBachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Production engineering or Advance degree (PG/Masters) in Plastics, Material, Tool design,etc. will be given a preference.\nMinimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience on gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews and remediation activities for RFQ activities.\nAl least one end-to-end project implementation of supplier transfer projects (Components/Sub-systems/Products)\nKnowledgeof Should costing tools & techniques (DFMA/aPriori) for metals, plastic and electronics components.\nFamiliarity with Six Sigma methodologies (DFSS/DMAIC/LSS) for problem solving or cost/process/design improvements projects.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste, improve process flow, and enhance operational efficiency.\nVAVE experience for cost down project execution and certification (SAVE/INVEST), Hands on experience in writing VAVE Proposals including Technical, cost savings rationales and project plan.\nPMP trained/ Certified /Equivalent experience. • Knowledge of PowerBI, Data analytics, Python for process automation.\nExcellent interpersonal, influence management, and conflict resolution skills. • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
