The Quality organization is responsible for ensuring components and assemblies meet established specifications, regulatory requirements, and quality standards through robust inspection processes, effective quality controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.This position is based at the MECC facility in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota and requires an onsite work arrangement five days per week. Travel is expected to be 10% or less.\nThe Senior Inspection Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the inspection function, ensuring timely and accurate inspection of components, assemblies, and finished products. This role is responsible for driving quality performance, developing team members, maintaining efficient inspection workflows, and supporting manufacturing operations through effective planning, resource management, and continuous process improvement.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead and oversee inspection activities for in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with established specifications, procedures, and quality standards.\nDirect, develop, and evaluate inspection personnel to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.\nPrioritize inspection schedules to support manufacturing requirements, new product introductions, and customer commitments while minimizing turnaround times.\nReview inspection results and make disposition decisions regarding acceptance, rejection, rework, or escalation of nonconforming product.\nEnsure the effective use and maintenance of inspection equipment, gauges, measuring devices, and testing systems.\nMonitor quality performance metrics and support statistical process control and other quality control methodologies to identify trends and drive improvements.\nMaintain accurate inspection records, reports, and documentation in accordance with quality management system requirements.\nRecommend and implement improvements to inspection methods, procedures, staffing plans, equipment utilization, and operational processes.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of manufacturing, quality inspection, or quality assurance experience\n2+ years of people leadership experience in a manufacturing, quality, or regulated production environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline.\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection instructions.\nExperience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience working with quality management systems and regulated manufacturing processes.\nExperience supporting electronics, electromechanical, machining, or component manufacturing operations.\nKnowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.\nExperience with SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) and LabWare.\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, inspection, or manufacturing processes.\nFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nThe physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
