A Day in the Life

As a Senior Product Business Analyst, you will act as a key bridge between product, business, and IT teams, ensuring successful delivery of product initiatives. You will translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, enabling seamless collaboration across stakeholders and driving execution across the product development lifecycle.

You will support product development by aligning business objectives with technology solutions, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and strategic goals in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Gather, analyze, and documentbusiness and product requirements
• Translate needs intouser stories, use cases, and functional specifications
• Ensure requirements arecomplete, feasible, and aligned with business objectives
• Act as a liaison betweenproduct, business, and IT teams
• Facilitatecross-functional collaboration and alignment
• Communicate effectively withtechnical and non-technical stakeholders
• Partner with engineering teams to ensuresolutions align with requirements
• Supportdesign, development, and implementation phases
• Ensure alignment withproduct roadmap and business goals
• Develop and maintainhigh-quality documentationincluding requirement specs and functional designs
• Maintainproject artifacts and a single source of truth
• Prioritize features based onbusiness value and urgency
• Manage and groom theproduct backlogwith product owners
• Ensure backlog readiness fordevelopment execution
• Defineacceptance criteriaand coordinateUser Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Track defects and ensureresolution before release
• Validate solutions meetbusiness and quality expectations
• Analyze processes to identifyimprovement opportunities
• Evaluate solutions foreffectiveness and efficiency
• Monitorperformance metrics and recommend optimizations
• Align product initiatives withbusiness strategy and goals
• Contribute toroadmap planning and data-driven decisions
• Ensure delivery ofintended business outcomes
• Operate withhigh ownership and autonomy
• Mentorjunior and mid-level analysts
• Influence decisions throughstakeholder engagement and expertise

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 7-12 years of experience in business analysis or product-focused roles
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice to Haves
• Experience in product-based or R&D environments
• Exposure to enterprise systems and integration concepts
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and performance metrics
• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams
