These tools generate insights to help maximize revenue, expand market share, and support global go-to-market efforts. The role offers strong exposure to Medtronic’s products, data, and commercial operations, along with opportunities for career growth in a diverse and inclusive environment focused on advancing healthcare.The Sr. IT Developer designs, builds, and supports internal CPQ/CLM applications that enable U.S. P&C capabilities. The role translates business needs into technical solutions, leads design discussions, develops and tests code, and improves system performance, reliability, and scalability. It also promotes development best practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and strong architecture patterns while troubleshooting issues and supporting upgrades and integrations. The position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, acting as a bridge between P&C and IT to ensure technology and data support business decisions. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, documenting solutions, mentoring developers, improving development processes, and contributing to architectural direction while working in agile teams to deliver technology solutions that support business outcomes and patient impact.\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:\nApplication Development and SupportDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications supporting internal business function.\nAnalyze systems and implement new applications or enhancements.\nWrite, test, and debug code following development standards.\nMaintain system documentation and build integrations or specialized programs.\nSupport maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshoot system issues.\n\nSystems Analysis and ImplementationAnalyze system capabilities, data inputs/outputs, and processing requirements.\nDevelop implementation plans and prepare operating and support documentation.\nRecommend improvements to development standards and system processes.\n\nBusiness CollaborationPartner with business teams to gather and document requirements.\nLead discovery sessions and translate technical solutions for business users.\nProvide user support and training.\n\nProject Delivery and Team CollaborationParticipate in or lead projects from design through implementation.\nCollaborate across IT and business teams and mentor junior developers when applicable.\n\nProcess Improvement and ComplianceIdentify opportunities to improve processes and system efficiency.\nMonitor integrations and data synchronization.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and corporate IT standards.\n\nRequired knowledge and experience:\nOverall 7 to 12 years of IT experience with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc.\nExperience with Conga CPQ/CLM or other leading industry software.\nFamiliarity with ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) and commercial systems.\nExperience working with Agile environments with CI/CD and version control (GIT).\nExperience developing APIs and integrating enterprise systems.\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nSolid understanding of system landscape, design and architecture.\nExperience with implementing technologies that span automation, Pricing, Quoting and Contracting.\nExperience with management of project implementations.\nStrong process documentation skills.
