Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) Operating Unit develops and delivers an integrated ecosystem of spinal implants, navigation and robotic guidance systems, advanced imaging, and data-driven planning tools for complex spine and cranial procedures. Platforms such as AiBLE™ connect these technologies to enhance surgical precision, streamline workflows, and support improved patient outcomes worldwide.This position has the responsibility and authority to develop and perform test automation verification & validation activities for software and systems to ensure Medtronic’s cutting edge medical products meet our user’s needs and our quality and reliability standards. This position requires application of technical expertise to independently determine and develop approaches to solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed under limited direction.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop comprehensive test strategies including requirements traceability matrices, test architecture design (unit/integration/system), and data-driven testing approaches\nDesigning, developing, testing, maintaining and documenting/validating software testing components and applications, utilizing AI Code Editors & IDEs (ex: Cursor), Agentic Coding, and Automated Agent Pipelines\nParticipate in all phases of product development as needed such as reviewing requirements, design, usability, risk assessment, and testing execution.\nContributes to the completion of work group objectives through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments. \nTroubleshoot, debug, maintain, and support existing products.\nEffectively communicate findings, problems and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.\nCollaborate and maintain excellent working relationships with team members and stakeholders, including working meeting with team members in different countries (ex: United States, India).\nPerforms duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies and governmental regulations.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and 4+ years of experience; 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 0+ years of experience with a PhD \nWorking knowledge of software design, development, debug and test practices.\nProven experience in automation systems, including debugging and performance analysis\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with business and technical audiences across the globe about complex engineering-level system designs, in both Hebrew and English. \nAbility to work in a team environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2+ years experience in automated UI testing including Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST API, HTML, and CSS \nCI/CD Pipelines: Setting up automated test execution and reporting\nSoftware development or testing experience in the medical industry or other regulated industry.\nProven experience designing agents, AI automation pipelines, and multi-agent orchestration in a highly regulated environment where quality of code, system logic, data integrity, and compliance always comes first \nStrong knowledge of modern, iterative software design processes and development practices including agile and both test-driven development and behavior driven development (project dependent).\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
