As part of the DevOps team, you will be a hands-on individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and reliable public cloud platforms that enable software delivery across the CST Division, including the Aible Ecosystem, Converged Planner app, and Gaitway. You will combine strong software engineering skills with cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence to support secure, compliant, and highly available cloud solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative, global environment and contribute to cloud-based applications that support surgeons in remote spine procedure planning.\nThis role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building cloud application capabilities that support surgeons in remote spine procedure planning.\nYou will work across engineering, security, infrastructure, and product teams to enable modern cloud-native delivery at scale.\n Primary Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain AWS cloud platform services, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and automation frameworks.\nBuild and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, container platforms, and deployment automation.\nImplement cloud security controls including identity and access management, encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance guardrails.\nIntegrate cloud services and platform capabilities that meet business, operational, and security requirements.\nDevelop observability, incident response, and operational support capabilities to improve platform reliability and service performance.\nTroubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, deployment, and production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nPartner with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and quality teams to modernize platforms and improve software delivery practices.\nProvide technical leadership through architecture reviews, engineering standards, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree and 6+ years OR advanced degree and 4+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud platform engineering, or site reliability engineering.\nExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments.\nExperience with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.\nExperience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience with infrastructure automation in enterprise environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Python, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), APIs, and software development practices.\nExperience with Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.\nKnowledge of cloud security, governance, compliance frameworks, and secure-by-design architectures.\nExperience building reusable platform services across multiple products, regions, or business units.\nExperience in regulated medical device, healthcare software, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) environments.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nRecruitment Fraud Alert\nWe are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
