This role partners with cross-functional teams to drive risk management, product disposition, problem solving, change control, and improvement projects while supporting risk burndown initiatives at the site. This role also provides oversight to equipment and process validation activities.\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.\nDevelops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.\nCollaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.\nDevises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.\nDesigns or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.\nEnsures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.\nMay specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.\nRequired Knowledge and Experience: Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR PhD with 0 years relevant experience.\nBachelor Degree in Engineering\nSenior Quality ENG\nAdvanced knowledge of GMP, FDA, ISO 13485, and Quality System Regulations.\nExperience leading complex CAPA, NCMR, and root cause investigations.\nExpertise in statistical analysis tools (Minitab, SPC, trend analysis).\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.\nKnowledge of manufacturing process controls, inspection optimization, and process capability.\nKnowledge of digital quality systems and data analytics tools.\nCapability to lead site-wide quality culture initiatives.\nAbility to coach and develop junior Quality Engineers.\nFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.\nPhysical Job Requirements\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.\nThe physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
