Your unique talents will help shape the future of healthcare while building a career grounded in purpose, growth, and impact.\nA Day in the Life\nResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.\nImportation & Delivery\nResponsible for import, export and logistics activities ensuring alignment with Medtronic Philippines (MDT PH) Country and Global Operations and Supply Chain (GOSC) objectives and overall strategies.\nHelps Medtronic Philippines Operating Units and supports in the achievement of their goals and targets.\nMonitor freight forwarder performance, SLAs and metrics to ensure fast and efficient transit from source to destination in keeping with agreed SLAs and KPIs.\nMonitor customs clearing process and verifies and confirms customs duties and taxes computation for entry filings.\nCollaborates with Finance, Commercial teams and other stakeholders where necessary to resolve issues related to freight and trade operations\nDetermines and confirms delivery addresses to forwarders, send pre-alerts, relevant documents and notices to customers and other stakeholders.\nDomestic delivery booking and monitoring; coordination with freight forwarders, marketing, customer service, service/repair and sales teams for local logistics.\nEnsure PODs (proof of delivery) are provided in a timely manner.\nMaintains records and data of shipments on file and in the system and produces the required reports as needed.\nReturns and Re-export\nWorks with relevant forwarders to book re-exports.\nWorks with relevant stakeholders to execute re-export and returns of products, demo units, service and repair processes, including proper communication to the shipping site and relevant parties.\nEnsures proper documentation for the re-export of products including equipment repairs and calibrations.\nBack office and Administrative\nMonitors PO balances and creates PO when needed for logistics vendors.\nChecks, validates and submits logistics billing to finance for payment processing.\nProvides support for inter-company billing as required by finance.\nMaintains local freight SOPs\nRequired Knowledge and Experience:\nMust Have: Minimum Requirements\nBachelor’s degree required, preferably Logistics or Customs Administration course\nCan be from any industry\nMinimum of 3 years’ focused experience in ImpEx and logistics operations\nAt least 5 years’ experience working in supply chain management field\nProficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel\nExperience in working on ERP systems\nAdditional Requirements\nInventory management, customer service, order management and supply planning experience an added advantage but not required\nAdvanced level on Microsoft Excel\nExperienced working with SAP systems\nExperience with work process automation an advantage\nExperience in working within a global, multi-national, multi-stakeholder environment\nSome out of office hours work may be required\nSkills and Attributes\nDetail oriented - ability to process high volume of shipments accurately for extended periods with high degrees of accuracy\nAble to maintain records and files for easy access and retrieval\nAnalytical and clear thinking - able to translate complex situations into simple, articulate portions for effective action\nCustomer focus - agile and adaptable to customer needs (internal or external)\nSelf-starter - can work with minimal supervision\nHigh degree of responsibility and accountability to assigned tasks; driven to execute completely and consistently\nCollaborative mindset; breaks down silos - works collaboratively with peers, leaders, customers and vendors\nSPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.
