Placement Opportunities in Medtronic: Student Co-op Placements

We are recruiting co-op students for their placement across a wide range of departments in our Parkmore, Mervue and Athlone sites (see below). These placements will be commencing in January & June 2027.

• R&D

• Manufacturing/Operations

• Process Development

• Neuromodulation

• Regulatory Affairs

• Engineering

• Customer Quality Experience Management

We are looking for students from the courses below:

• BE + ME Biomedical Engineering

• BE + ME Mechanical Engineering

Following interview, successful applicants will be selected and placed into departments as designated by the company.

Please note we require acceptance of offer on the same day as the interview.

We will be commencing interviews once the application process opens. To avoid disappointment please do not delay in submitting your application.

Please note, some of these placements may have a hybrid workstyle and technology/equipment will be provided by the company.

Typical duties will include the following:

• Provide daily technical support to the department

• Carry out a project and report progress as agreed by Supervisor/Manager

• Work as part of the team to achieve goals and objectives as agreed

• Ensure appropriate documentation is completed and checked

• Contribute to supporting the department in day-to-day activities and liaise with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve issues

• Support teams driving innovation and continuous improvement

• Assists with the development, monitoring, coordination, and implementation of technical projects as assigned

• Assist in the evaluation of capabilities of equipment as required (if applicable)

• Collect data/product output and analyze using various statistical techniques utilizing Minitab/MATLAB software (If applicable)
