This includes the creation of charters, budgets, communication and risk plans, development and maintenance of detailed project plans, and leading project teams through planning, organizing, and controlling a project from start to finish. This individual will partner with stakeholders across the organization, and work with external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to\nComplete project initiation including project approval, identification of stakeholders and project resources, charter completion, and project kickoff. \nDevelop project plans with budgets, milestones, tasks, schedules, and deliverables for all assigned projects. \nManage and control project plans to ensure on time, within budget project delivery. \nAssign tasks to project team members with appropriate tracking progress to plan. \nEnsure the project team understands how project objectives align with organization objectives. \nFacilitate project meetings including agendas, meeting notes, and action items. \nDocument project risks and issues with resolution tracking to completion. \nRecognize and advise leadership of concerns/issues and provide appropriate follow-up. \nAssure quality of work by coordinating review prior to implementation with appropriate written documentation. \nProvide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to stakeholders, and leadership. \nCoordinate multiple activities, set priorities, and provide direction to others. \nProvide leadership through delegation, motivation, and support of project team members. \nMaintain a positive work atmosphere in behaving and communicating in a manner that promotes favorable working relationships. \nMaintain an understanding of the organization and the tools available to successfully plan work detail and schedule resources to meet target dates. \nParticipate in establishing practices, templates, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature project management capabilities for the organization. \nMaintain an understanding of industry-wide changes and technology trends in the areas of project management. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nThe ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in project management; experience in strategic planning, risk and change management. Experience in the healthcare and/or veterinary industry is a plus but not required.\nIn addition, this position requires:\nBachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field. \nMBA preferred. \nPMP preferred. \nAbility to manage multiple complex projects and adjust priorities, as necessary. \nAbility to build relationships with and influence other functional areas. \nAbility to step into projects already in progress. \nExcellent organization and time management skills. \nOperates independently with minimal guidance by management. \nAdapts well to change. \nAbility to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas. \nProblem-solving skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis. \nStrong verbal and written communication skills. \nAbility to successfully present technical information. \nExcellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organization. \nAbility to motivate and lead a team. \nStrong analysis and critical thinking skills. \nCapability to travel 10% including overnight and multi-day automobile and airline travel. \nProficiency with Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, project management software, and SharePoint with experience presenting stakeholders and senior leadership. \nPerks and Benefits include:\nComprehensive Health Benefits\nVision and Dental\n401k with Employer Match\nPaid Time Off (PTO) \nEmployee Pet Discounts \nElective Short-Term Disability\nLife and Accident Insurance \nThe posted range for this position is $81,700-$134,800. which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
