Use your passion to drive the MedVet experience for our clients and patients, as well as your teammates.\nWe are looking for: Surgery Veterinary Clinical Supervisor\nSchedule: Monday-Thursday (8a-6:30p) or (7a-5:30p)- alternating schedule\nOur Surgery team is a fast-paced environment, perfect for technicians that are looking for training in multiple facets of the department and interaction with the other teams in the hospital. This team requires strong communication skills to liaison between surgeons and clients and deliver post-operative care instructions.\nWhat you’ll do:\nEscalates issues to Clinical Manager \nFunctions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s) \nCollaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs \nPrioritizes and organizes workflows for shift \nDirectly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to: \nManages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members \nAssigns team member responsibilities per shift \nAddresses process or employee issues during their shift \nCommunicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely \nServes as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations \nTrains and mentors new team members \nProvides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations \nParticipates in on-call responsibilities \nParticipates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely \nWho you are:\ncommunication skills Prior veterinary experience required, previous surgery experience desired \nProficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)\nFlexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary \nAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment \nExcellent verbal and written \nPerks and Benefits include:\nComprehensive Health Benefits \nVision and Dental \nHSA, FSA and Independent Care Spending \n401k with Employer Match \nPaid Time Off (PTO) \nShift Differentials and On-call Pay \nUniform Allowance \nEmployee Pet Discounts and Pet Insurance \nElective Short-Term Disability, Life and Accident Insurance and company paid Long Term Disability \nContinuing Education Opportunities and Assistance Program \nStrong career growth and personal development opportunities \nCompensation:\nThis position has an initial hiring range of $38.00 to $43.00 per hour based on skillset and experience.\nWe support our weekend and overnight caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:\nHours worked between 8pm and 11:59pm = base pay + $2/hour\nHours worked between 12am to 7:59am = base pay + $3/hour\nHours worked on Weekends (day or night) = base pay +$1/hour + any applicable differential\nCome as you are.
