[Remote] Developer/DevOps Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Women In Analytics (WIA) - NL is seeking a Developer / DevOps Engineer to support software development, deployment automation, infrastructure management, and system reliability. The role builds, deploys, monitors, and maintains scalable and secure applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and automation solutions
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment workflows
• Monitor system performance, application health, and infrastructure reliability
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, product managers, and system administrators throughout the software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues
• Manage cloud environments and infrastructure resources across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar platforms
• Implement security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements
• Support containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Maintain system documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks
• Optimize application scalability, availability, performance, and disaster recovery capabilities
• Continuously improve automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency processes

Skills

• Experience in software development, DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or related fields
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, C#, or similar
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar
• Understanding of Linux systems, networking concepts, and system administration
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
