The Network Team at Latitude.sh is a critical pillar in ensuring stable, secure, and high-performance connectivity for our customers. We operate a robust, complex, and constantly evolving global network infrastructure that supports bare-metal and cloud-adjacent workloads.
Our environment includes carrier-grade routing, switching, security, and monitoring systems, working closely with multiple transit providers and data centers worldwide. The team is hands-on, deeply technical, and driven by ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a Network Operations Analyst to join our Network Team, capable of handling operational excellence, incident response, and proactive improvements in a production-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and continuously improve the logical data and security network, including edge routers, core switches, and firewalls;
Actively troubleshoot and resolve medium and high-complexity network incidents, including interaction with transit providers, IXs, and data center partners when required;
Provide L1/L2 (and partial L3) network support to customers and internal teams, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and SLA adherence;
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence of incidents;
Plan and support network expansions, topology changes, and capacity improvements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, procedures, and incident records;
Manage and improve network monitoring systems, including creation and tuning of alerts, graphs, and thresholds;
Act with a strong sense of ownership and urgency, especially during off-hours and critical incidents.
Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced English communication skills (B2 level or higher), both written and spoken;
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience);
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, including:
- Layer 2 & 3 concepts: MAC, VLAN, Trunking, Spanning Tree
- IP networking: ARP, Subnetting, ACLs, DHCP
- Routing: BGP, OSPF
- Transport & management: TCP, UDP, SNMP, NTP, SSH
- Troubleshooting tools: Ping, Traceroute
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production environments with a hands-on and analytical approach
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to operate calmly under pressure
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to different audiences
- Proactive mindset and willingness to continuously learn and improve;
- Cisco CCNA certification (required); higher-level certifications are a plus
- Experience with Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei, or multi-vendor environments;
- Previous experience in ISP, data center, or large-scale infrastructure environments;
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, LibreNMS, etc.);
- Experience interacting directly with carriers and transit providers.
